West Texas Police Say Six Slightly Hurt During Robbery

Lubbock police reported that six people were slightly hurt after being shot walking the nearby streets during a bank robbery.

Police on Monday were seeking two armed men. Investigators said the victims were peppered with pellets from a shotgun-type blast from the robbery Sunday night.

Police say two men approached the victims and demanded cash and other valuables. Investigators say the pedestrians complied, then one of the fleeing robbers turned around and opened fire.

Lubbock police say six people sustained minor injuries. All declined medical treatment.
