TGCSO Arrest Man on Warrant, Find 15.3 Grams of Meth and Stolen Pistol

 

Yesterday was the day for warrant arrests. Acting on information received from the public on a wanted subject, officials with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division located and arrested 41-year-old Adalberto Rios.

Rios was observed operating a vehicle on East 22nd St. in San Angelo. TGCSO stopped Rios in the area and took him into custody for the warrant issued on a Motion to Revoke Probation for the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, penalty group 1.

"Deputies observed narcotic paraphernalia in plain sight in the vehicle," said Sheriff David Jones. "A search was conducted and approximately 15.3 grams of methamphetamine was found along with a loaded pistol that was reported as stolen."

Rios was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, PG-1>=4G<200G. Rios was booked into the Tom Green County Jail.
