Police Say Drunk Plowed into 2 Parked Cadillacs

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Police said a drunk driver was involved in a major vehicle crash Saturday night.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Jan. 9 at around 7 p.m., officers where dispatched to the 2700 block of Briargrove Ln. for the report of a major crash. 

As officers arrived they discovered a Ford Focus that had hit a red Cadillac along with a second red Cadillac on the side of the roadway. 

As officers were investigating they began to sense drunk tendencies from the driver of the Ford Focus. He was then given a field sobriety test. Police said he struck two unoccupied vehicles, both Cadillacs.

Following the sobriety test the man was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

He is currently in the Tom Green County Jail.
