WATCH: High Speed Chase Ends in Crash on the Northside

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police officers chased down a suspect who fled Wednesday evening from an attempted traffic stop on the Northside.  

The suspect was driving a gray Dodge Charger.  

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle near the intersection of 19th St. and Wade.

According to SAPD investigating Sgt. Bouligny, the suspect immediately fled and disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of 19th St. and Wade.  A vehicle eastbound on Wade crashed into the Charger bringing the chase to an end.  

The driver of the Charger was taken into custody and charges are pending.
