SAN ANGELO, TX — A red Toyota Camry was T-boned on Koenigheim at Twohig Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m.
According to San Angelo police, the cause of the crash was what they term a “non-contact vehicle.”
Police said the Camry was westbound on Twohig and crossing the busy Koenigheim when an eastbound “non-contact vehicle” on Twohig turned left in front of the Camry. The Camry stopped in the middle of Koenigheim to avoid hitting this now-mysterious left-turning car.
At about the same time, a Chevrolet Cruze was northbound and didn’t have time to stop before T-boning the stopped Camry.
The “non-contact vehicle” didn’t stop and kept on going. Police said that car was the real culprit because its driver didn’t yield the right-of-way to the poor Camry driver.
Police said the Camry’s driver and Cruze’s driver get a pass. No citations for the crash. There is no word about where the “non-contact vehicle” went or exactly what it looked like.
Things happened too fast.
One of the drivers did get a citation for invalid drivers license.
