Police Investigating After Vehicle Crashes Into Abilene Home

 

ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Police Department is investigating after a vehicle crashed into a home Wednesday, Aug. 26.

The crash occurred just after noon when a vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and collided with a house on the corner of Lillius and North 6th streets.

No one was inside the house at the time of the wreck.

The driver sustained minor injuries, while a passenger walked away uninjured. The vehicle had to be towed from the yard.

The driver was issued a citation for an expired license.

A structural inspection of the house was conducted to make sure it remained safe for the residents to continue living there.
