ABILENE, TX — A third victim of the crash between the Vernon College Rodeo Team and an RV north of Haskell on Saturday, March 18 has died, according to the family.
Jakob Plummer died at 6:27 a.m. Sunday morning.
“Jake took his last breathe on Earth and his first breathe in Heaven at 6:27 am. We find comfort knowing he's met Jesus face-to-face and is hugging his momma again this morning. Thank you all for sharing your love of Jakob with us. The pain you've been feeling can't compare to the joy that's coming in glory - Romans 8:18,” read a post on the Facebook page “Jakob’s Journey” where family members are keeping the public informed about their loved one’s condition.
Plummer’s death brings the fatality count to three for the tragic crash between the Vernon College Rodeo Team’s Ram 3500 and a motorhome driven by a San Angelo couple.
