Two children, a 2-year-old male and a 7-year-old (almost 8) female, along with the adult driver and passenger of a 2006 Ford Focus, suffered injuries after a collision with entrapment at the intersection of FM 2105 and State Highway 208.
DPS Trooper Henderson said, at 3:43 p.m. this afternoon, the driver of the Ford Focus, Daphana Williams of Abilene, was traveling eastbound on FM 2105 at the intersection of State Highway 208. At this time, Henderson said he’s not sure if Williams disregarded the stop sign, or failed to yield the right of way to a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup traveling northbound on 208.
“There’s conflicting stories as to if she disregarded the stop sign, or failed to yield the right of way,” Henderson said.
The driver of the pickup, driven by Angela Brewer of Iowa, and a passenger in her vehicle suffered no major injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Williams, an adult passenger and the 2-year-old, who was sitting in the back seat, and in the area of impact, were transported by ambulance to Community Medical Center. The 7-year-old girl, who was sitting behind the driver, was transported to Community by a private vehicle.
Henderson said Williams will receive a citation either for failing to yield right of way or disregarding the stop sign.

You've got to be a special kind of stupid to have a wreck at that location..... There's rumble bars to get your attention on both sides of 2105 along with HUGE bright red stop signs and flashing red lights...... You can see a car coming for 1 mile from each way on 208, absolutely no obstacles or obstructions to hinder your view.........
