One Vehicle Roll Over on Bryant

A one vehicle roll-over accident had traffic shut down to one lane as SAPD surveyed the damage on Bryant Blvd. shortly after 9 p.m. tonight.  The blue Ford Explorer was north bound on Bryant Blvd., when according to the driver, another vehicle pulled out in front of him; he swerved to avoid impact with the alleged oncoming vehicle and lost control of his SUV causing him to roll over in the median.

A witness on the scene reported seeing the blue Explorer swerve around his vehicle(observing no other automobiles on the roadway) and upon losing control, flipped the SUV about four times before coming to a rest in the median.

The driver and passenger in the Explorer suffered minor lacerations to the head and were both checked over by EMT’s at the scene. Both parties refused medical treatment and the driver was issued a citation for failure to control speed.

According to SAPD, no other parties were found to be at fault at this time.

The crash occurred on N. Bryant Blvd. and Lake Dr. just before 9 p.m.
