Another Grass Fire Beaks Out in Grape Creek

 

GRAPE CREEK, TX – Another grass fire broke out Wednesday near Grape Creek. 

According to radio reports, on June 10, firefighters with the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of N. US 87 and Floyd Ln. for the report of a grass fire. 

Crews with the Water Valley, Carlsbad, and Quail Valley Volunteer Fire Department were also dispatched to the fire. 

A possible structure may have caught on fire. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Tom Green County is currently under a burn ban and is under an elevated fire danger advisory.
