WATCH: Massive Grass Fire Threatens Multiple Trailer Homes in Grape Creek

 

GRAPE CREEK, TX – A massive grass fire threatened a number of mobile homes in Grape Creek on Tuesday. 

Scanner traffic report that on June 9 crews with the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the Grape Creek RV Park on Sunflower ln for the report of a grass fire. 

When crews arrived they found a massive grass fire that threatened numerous homes. Here is a video of the scene: 

Crews from Quail Valley, Water Valley, and Carlsbad Volunteer Fire Departments were also called out. 

Witnesses on scene claim the fire started by someone who was burning trash.
