SAN ANGELO, TX — The Hooters location on Sherwood Way in San Angelo has permanently closed its doors, part of a wave of at least 40 closures across the nation.
This past weekend saw Hooters restaurants in Bryan, McAllen, Seabrook, Wichita Falls, and San Angelo cease operations. The company attributed the closures to underperformance at these locations.
"Like many restaurants under pressure from current market conditions, Hooters has made the difficult decision to close a select number of underperforming stores,” Hooters stated. “Ensuring the well-being of our staff is our priority in these rare instances. With new Hooters restaurants opening domestically and internationally, new Hooters frozen products launching at grocery stores, and the Hooters footprint expanding into new markets with both company and franchise locations, this brand of 41 years remains highly resilient and relevant. We look forward to continuing to serve our guests at home, on the go and at our restaurants here in the U.S. and around the globe."
A note on the front doors states that the location is now closed and is redirecting traffic to their Odessa location, 2660 John Ben Shepperd Parkway.
A "Lone Star Moving" vehicle is also outside of the location.

PermalinkSir, at one point several years ago I was drugged—around the same time I was tracked down online, coincidentally. It was in that drug induced state that I realized that for a man to have any preference whatsoever regarding women was actually a violent act of misogyny.
Good day.
