SAN ANGELO, TX -- The long-awaited San Angelo open of Hooters now has an official date.
The Florida-based restaurant chain is set to open its doors in San Angelo on March 18, Assistant Manager Michaela Castillo told San Angelo LIVE! The official date meets the restaurant's plans of a mid-march opening.
Hooters had been rumored to move to San Angelo since the old Logan's Roadhouse closed its doors at 4384 Sherwood Way. Hooters has since applied for and received a liquor license for its newest store.
The renovation of the building which housed Logan's includes roughly 40 TVs, new booths and tables to fit Hooter's traditional look.
The construction has been led by Outland Enterprises. The plans to open Hooters has taken this much time because the company had just opened restaurants in Houston and Wichita Falls.
