AUSTIN – The Temporary Restraining Order ("TRO") issued by the Travis County district judge, supposedly permitting an abortion, does not shield hospitals, medical professionals, or any party from potential civil or criminal repercussions for breaching Texas' abortion regulations. This encompasses the possibility of facing first-degree felony charges as outlined in Tex. Health & Safety Code § 170A.004, along with civil fines starting at $100,000 per violation as per Tex. Health & Safety Code §§ 170A.005, 171.207-211.
While the TRO seeks to temporarily halt actions initiated by the OAG and TMB against Dr. Karsan and her team, it does not prevent legal actions brought by private individuals, per Tex. Health & Safety Code § 171.207. Additionally, it does not bar district or county attorneys from enforcing Texas' pre-Roe abortion laws against Dr. Karsan or others. The TRO's duration will lapse well before the statute of limitations for violating Texas' abortion laws expires.

This country is going to blow up spectacularly. I don't know if it's a few decades away or just a few years, but that resultant consequence is latent within the conditions of the country at present, just sitting in time like landmines waiting for just the right amount of hubris to come across it...
