4 Lone San Angelo Democrats Stand on the Steps of City Hall to Protest Sanctuary City Proposition

SAN ANGELO – A group of four Tom Green County Democrats held a rally Friday on the steps of City Hall to protest the proposed Sanctuary City ordinance on the Nov. ballot.

As we reported earlier, Michael Lepak delivered a letter to San Angelo LIVE! protesting the ordinance and announcing two rallies; the first was Thursday at noon at Immanuel Baptist Church and the second was at City Hall Friday.

Meanwhile, a group double the size of the Democrats sat on the opposite side of the steps of City Hall and quietly held up signs urging San Angeloans to vote for the ordinance.

Both groups were basically protesting to an empty street because there were no members of the public in attendance.

Tom Green County Democrat Party Chair Mercedes Dela Cruz took the microphone Friday.  Dela Cruz said the Party was not responsible for the press release.  Lepak had said earlier the press release was his and his alone.  Dela Cruz then said she was there representing the Tom Green County Democrat Party protesting the Sanctuary City for the Unborn proposition on the ballot.

So which one is karateautobots? Anyone that runs his mouth as much about killing babies as he, was bound to be there...unless all he does is run his mouth.
