SAN ANGELO – A suspect charged with murder has been arrested for the second time following her original murder charge. This time it was for driving while intoxicated.

Clemons was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility on Jun. 6, 2020 and was released on Oct. 28, 2020 on a $100,000 bond. After months of lying low Clemons was eventually arrested again on Apr. 25, 2021 for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct - Affray. She was released the same day on a personal recognizance bond.
This arrest resulted in the district attorney's office demanding her bond be raised to $150,000 for the murder charge. The motion was passed on May 17 and Clemons was rebooked into the TGCJ. She was once again released the same day after posting the newly raised $150,000 bond.
Then on Sunday, Sep. 26, at 4:59 a.m., Clemons was once again arrested. This time it would be the Texas Department of Public Safety who caught her driving and driving. Clemons was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released the same day on a $1,000 surety bond.
It is unclear if this charge violates Clemons' bond. The last court hearing that Clemons had was on Sep. 7. During the meeting the district attorney claimed that they may resolve the charge but need more discussion. Also the defense attorney needs to confer with the judge about a "funding issue."
Her next pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
