MIDLAND, TX — The Midland Police Department has released new details in the stabbing that took place at a local Dollar General on Thursday.
According to the MPD, officers were dispatched to the 900 blocks of South Atlanta just before noon after receiving reports of several people armed with a jack handle and knife.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a man who had been stabbed multiple times and a woman who was also injured. The victims were treated for their injuries and released.
According to police, four suspects were involved in the assault. The first suspect, identified as 28-year-old Timothy Samuels, was transported to the hospital to be treated. Upon his release, Samuels was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers also arrested two individuals at the scene, 57-year-old David Samuels and 52-year-old Pearlie Jackson. They were both charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police are searching for the fourth suspect who fled the scene. The suspect has been identified as t, 27-year-old Qimberly Samuels.
