Coronavirus: Week Ends With 271 New Cases and 11 Deaths

SAN ANGELO, TX --The City of San Angelo confirmed 34 new COVID-19 cases Sunday bringing the seven-day total to 271 additional cases.

According to the data provided by the city, 154 of the cases confirmed this week using PCR tests. The other 117 cases were confirmed with antigen testing.

In addition to the new cases, officials confirmed a total of 11 deaths in the last seven days, with seven of them, confirmed on Monday.

This brings the total positive cases to 2,869. There are currently 783 active cases.

No further updates were providing patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
