City Officials say that the $22 million project is 50 percent complete.

The Bell Street project is part of a 10-year, $80 million commitment to improve some of San Angelo’s worst streets. To date, Martin Luther King Drive has been rebuilt, a portion of Southland Boulevard has been widened, and College Hills Boulevard has been repaved from Loop 306 to Valleyview Boulevard.

When the project includes relocating and replacing utilities, the progress isn’t counted by just how much pavement has been done. The utility infrastructure work is actually tougher then repaving.

weren't they supposed to be repaving the section of college hills from the loop heading towards ave N as well, or am i just misremembering that?

College Hills north of the loop is next on the list if I remember correctly. I seem to recall a story that the city may have obtained funding to do it earlier than planned as well. Southwest Boulevard is up after College Hills I think.
