SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department has identified and is now searching for the man who stabbed two security guards last night at the Concho Pearl Icehouse.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, on September 11 multiple fights broke out at the Concho Pearl which left two security guards with stab wounds to the side and head. Here's the original story.
Now Police have identified the man who stabbed the guards as 37-year-old Robert Garcia Jr. AKA "Blunt."
He currently has a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after the two men he stabbed had emergency surgery and are still in critical condition.
Blunt is 5'10" Hispanic man who weighs 230 lbs. His eyes are green and he is bald.
If you have information about Garcia’s whereabouts, please contact the San Angelo Police department at (325) 657-4315. To remain anonymous, tip online at http://bit.ly/SAPDTips247 or by text: text TIP SAPD to 888777 and follow the prompts.
Remember if you see Blunt do not attempt to apprehend him or approach him as he could be armed and dangerous.

Especially if it's describing his intellect. He's obviously well known to those who'd like to find him. Too bad his knife wasn't....

PermalinkPretty sure the nickname is a drug reference. Regardless I'm sure he won't be too hard to find.
I'm glad to see that the time Pearl was closed for remodel because their overpriced sandwiches weren't keeping it afloat so they turned it into another bar was time and money well spent.

Permalinkprobably ran one block and collapsed, winded, in a nearby alley.
Does anyone know the (likely) hilarious and trivial reasons for these fights? Someone "disrespekkin'" this 230 pound walking poop emoji, or possibly flirting with his "ruca", of equal or greater size?

PermalinkWhat? No spurious adjectives to describe the Concho Pearl? Notorious? Dive Bar? Come on, surely you can come up with something appropriately denigrating.
Remember you are supposed to be journalists. Right? Don't succumb to exaggerated headlines. Or if that's what you choose to do, do it across the board so we can distinguish San Angelo Live as a rag and not real news.

PermalinkIt just really pissed me off to see such a sorry label carelessly flung out about Giz N Hum's. That's the kind of headline that can really hurt a small business. That quiet little pool hall has been there (and owned by the same family) for probably 50 years. Really irresponsible journalism. I've lived nearby since about 1989 and there has never been a problem. The owner doesn't tolerate poor behavior. What happened recently seems to have just been a one off.

PermalinkI was there maybe a week or two after the “notorious” headline just to check it out and another fight broke out! Yikes! Maybe people need to play better pool! Maybe SA Live might be on to something! Bad motels near by so not my scene ig

PermalinkThe bullets that flew through This scumbag back in 2004 didn't do the trick. Maybe This fine specimen will move too fast and SAPD will put a few where They need to be.
