ROBY, TX -- A stalker was shot and killed Tuesday by the victim's son.
According to KTXS, on Tuesday at around 1:00 a.m. the Fisher County Sheriff's Office received a call about a man who was previously charged with stalking returning to their home. He allegedly threatened to kill the homeowner and the son.
When deputies arrived the man identified as Hector Castillo Jr., 47, had already left the house so the deputies began searching the neighborhood.
Once the deputies left Castillo returned to the house and began threatening the homeowner's 22-year-old son who was smoking outside.
This is when the 22-year-old shot Castillo in the chest. He was flown to UMC in Lubbock and died at 2:00 p.m.
Autopsy results are pending.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Castillo used to be involved with the homeowner. But Clark said they had been separated for several years and he had a history of stalking her.
There are currently no charges pressed on the 22-year-old but the case will be presented to a grand jury.
