SAN ANGELO, TX -- The owner of the dog that was seen being abused at the pops concert last week has given up the dog.
On July 3, a video surfaced that depicted a German Shepherd being beaten by the owner.
Here's the video:
Since that day San Angelo Police Department investigated and eventually discovered the identity of the abuser and dog.
According to the Director of Concho Valley PAWS Jenie Wilson, Concho Valley PAWS does not have the dog but that she was surrendered to the Broken Arrow German Shepard Ranch in Christoval.
The San Angelo Police Department has not pressed charges yet on the owner but multiple people have been expressing on social media thier distaste for the incident.

I don't know anything about the GS ranch, but I doubt they beat them.....

PermalinkGlad to see that this beautiful German Shepard has been removed from this clown's ownership. Totally senseless to beat a dog because your drunk ass stumbled over it and fell. Hope it finds a great home.

PermalinkThe man's allegedly a Vietnam vet. With that coming to light, along with some mention of "PTSD", for good measure, I'm sure he'll be off the hook, in the court of public opinion, at least.
I can hear the human Cockatoos now..."Thank you for your service...thank you for your service!"

PermalinkI have not seen the video, I just cannot deal with seeing an animal being hurt. This piece of .... of a human being needs to serve time for cruelty/animal abuse. There is no reason on this earth to treat an animal like that.
