Overpass Demonstrators Sign "Impeach Obama"

The signs on the overpass at Glenna St. read “Impeach Obama,” and “It’s we the people not I the President”, while two Old Glorys and a Come and Take it flag whipped in the wind.

The protesters for ‘Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment,’ had rifles slung over their backs in open carry and cheered when people honked their horns in agreement.

One car driving by yelled out, “Republicans Suck!” to which Sherry Moore looked around and said, “Raise your hand if you’re Libertarian.”

Four of the six present raised their hands and laughed.

Today was a national day slated for the Texas branch of ‘Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment,’ and San Angelo joined the party.

“That’s why we’re out here today,” Donny Leek, a truck driver, said, and further explained that today was the day truck drivers rolled into D.C. for a protest.

Douglas Futrell, organizer of this particular protest, showed his support by holding up one of the signs, and had ‘his old lady [a rifle]’strapped to his back in defiance.

The mission of the group as stated by the national website is, “Our immediate goal is to see the corrupt Barack Hussein Obama held accountable for his many unconstitutional actions. We demand nothing less than he be given the maximum sentence allowable by law for each of his crimes committed while in the office of President, that he be given no pardon, nor granted immunity under any circumstance.”
