SAN ANGELO, TX— A rollover crash on US 87 required AirMed to be dispatched to assist with the serious crash.
Around 9:00 p.m., a major rollover crash occurred near the intersection of Roberts Road and US Highway 87 South. A Nixle alert was issued by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office to avoid the area as both northbound and southbound lanes were closed due to the crash.
According to radio reports, AirMed was dispatched to the scene to assist with the transportation of individuals involved.
Reporters on scene observed lanes of traffic backed up and at a stand-still on Highway 87. A white two door vehicle and a black two door vehicle were at least two of the vehicles involved.
While AirMed was called to the scene, it is unclear how seriously injured the person or people are.
