Police Identify Woman Killed in North Bryant Pedestrian Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police have identified the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in the 2100 block of North Bryant Boulevard.

According to a newly released statement, officers responded around 8 p.m. on Dec. 3 to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian walking in the lane of traffic in low-light conditions. Police said the pedestrian, Sally Stewart, 60, was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The driver immediately stopped and rendered aid until first responders arrived.

Stewart was transported to Shannon Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. No charges are being filed, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
