SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State University track and field program has qualified 18 athletes for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships later this month.
The No. 7-ranked Rams are sending eight athletes, while the No. 17-ranked Rambelles qualified 10 athletes.
To qualify for the national meet, athletes must reach a provisional standard established for each event. The top 22 entrants are then selected, along with the top 16 relays. The top 16 heptathletes and decathletes are also chosen.
The national meet will be held May 22-24 in Pueblo, Colorado.

- Oleg Ananev, pole vault, 2nd
- Rami Balti, 400, 5th
- Antonio Blair, 800, 8th
- Josh Body, triple jump, 10th
- Mark Burdin, decathlon, 5th
- Solomon Odonkor, 100, 1st; 200, 8th
- 4x400 relay, 5th

- Federica Dozio, javelin, 5th
- Fedra Florentin, shot put, 16th
- Kylie Frush, heptathlon, 16th
