Wall Names New Head Volleyball Coach

 

WALL, TX — Wall ISD Athletic Director Bryan Morrison announced Tuesday that Kimberly Branch has been named the new head coach of the high school volleyball program.

Branch comes to Wall after three years at Class 4A Mineral Wells, where she led the Lady Rams to an overall record of 64-46 with two playoff wins.

Mineral Wells had a breakout season under Branch in 2022, when they went 24-15 and reached the second round of the playoffs.

She was named the Palo Pinto County Coach of the Year by the Weatherford Democrat.

Mineral Wells was 26-12 in 2023 with another run to the second round of the playoffs. The Lady Rams were 14-19 last season and lost their playoff opener.

Wall was 24-15 last year and lost in the first round of the playoffs. The Lady Hawks were coached the last two seasons by Taylor Howie.
