Sexual Assault Reported Near ASU Campus; Five Suspects Sought

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred off-campus Sunday on Knickerbocker Road, south of Angelo State University, according to an alert issued early Monday morning.

This happened on April 6 between noon and 10 p.m. and involved five suspects. The suspects were reportedly in an older model red Ford pickup with a camper shell and tinted windows.

Two of the suspects were described as white males, one as a Black male, and two others as unidentified males.

ASU Police were notified of the incident just before midnight due to the location’s proximity to campus.

Anyone who sees a vehicle matching the description is urged to contact University Police at 325-942-2071 or San Angelo Police at 325-657-4315. Authorities are asking the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activity.
