Glenna Street Roadwork Begins Today, Expect Lane Closures

SAN ANGELO, TX — Roadwork on Glenna Street began today, Feb. 3, and is expected to continue through Feb. 21, causing lane closures and potential traffic delays in the area.

The project will span from the Houston Harte Frontage Road to Howard Street and involves milling and repaving.

Construction crews will close the two southbound lanes first, shifting traffic to the opposite side. Once work on the southbound lanes is complete, traffic will be redirected again to accommodate repaving the northbound lanes.

One lane in each direction will remain open throughout the project, but access to residential and business driveways may be temporarily blocked as crews work through the area.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes to avoid congestion.
