Three Vehicle Crash Snarls Traffic During Rush Hour

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A three vehicle crash occurred on Avenue N in front of Angelo Ale House during San Angelo rush hour.

As everyone is driving home after work, a three-vehicle crash was called at the intersection of South Monroe Street and Avenue N in front of Angelo Ale House around 4:10 p.m.

According to an officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a three-vehicle crash between a black Chevy truck, a blue Chevy pickup, and a white Lincoln passenger car. The officer stated that at the time of the crash, traffic was stopped as the white Lincoln was attempting to make the turn off of Avenue N onto South Monroe.

The black Chevy pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to control its speed, rearending the white Lincoln, which was pushed into the blue Chevy pickup.

Each vehicle involved had one occupant inside and the individual inside the white Lincoln was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further evaluation. The officer did not know the condition of the injured driver.

The driver of the black Chevy truck was issued a citation for failure to control speed.

Conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
