HOUSTON, TX — Maintenance crews with the Texas Department of Transportation in San Angelo traveled across the state to assist with the cleanup of snowy roads in the Houston area this week.
Snow is an unusual event in Houston, which had reports of more than 4 inches in some parts of the city Tuesday.
Nearby Baytown had 5.5 inches of snow, according to the National Weather service.
San Angelo workers teamed with Houston District Emergency Operations crews and Texas DPS Troopers to help keep the roads safe for the public.
