Driver Cited After Two-Vehicle Crash at South Abe and West Concho

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday at the intersection of South Abe Street and West Concho Avenue, resulting in no injuries but leaving one driver facing multiple citations.

According to a San Angelo Police Department traffic officer on the scene, the crash involved a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Mazda SUV, both traveling southbound on South Abe.

The Jeep, which was in the second lane from the left, attempted to turn left onto West Concho from the wrong lane and was struck by the Mazda, which was traveling in the far-left lane.

Both vehicles were occupied, with two individuals in the Mazda and two or three in the Jeep. No one was transported to the hospital.

The driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is expected to be cited for improper lane usage, driving without a valid license, and lacking insurance.

Around the same time, another crash happened at the intersection of West Beauregard and South Koenigheim. The crash was minor and did not affect traffic.
