WATCH: Two-Vehicle Crash Sends Two to Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash next to Sonic on West Beauregard Avenue backed up traffic this afternoon.

Around 3:20 p.m., a major crash was called at the intersection of Santa Fe Park Drive and West Beauregard Avenue. On scene, a white Toyota was observed in the roadway and an older model Honda was in the Sonic parking lot.

According to an officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the Honda Accord was on Santa Fe Drive at the stop sign and the Toyota was traveling east on West Beauregard. The Honda failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign and crashed into the Toyota.

Two occupants in the Toyota were transported to the hospital and the driver of the Honda was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Traffic was diverted down Santa Fe Park Drive while the crash was being investigated.
