Christmas Eve Rollover Scare on US 67

SAN ANGELO, TX — On US 67 southwest of San Angelo, a couple in a Jeep experienced quite a scare.

For whatever reason, the Jeep departed the prepared surface of the roadway and rolled over into the barrow ditch. Both wheels on the passenger side were missing after the rollover.

Neither occupant wanted to be transported to the hospital. The man who was presumably driving refused medical treatment. The 20-yer-old female passenger complained only about a bump on her head.

Dove Creek VFD responded along with the Texas DPS. The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. near the US 67 intersection with Ponderosa Trail and blocked traffic for about an hour.
