SAN ANGELO, TX — Temperatures are set to warm up across West Central Texas on Thursday, with highs reaching the mid-60s to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
San Angelo is expected to see a high of 69 degrees, with light southwest winds ranging from 5 to 10 mph.
Nearby areas such as Sterling City, Mason, and Junction are forecast to hit highs of 70 degrees or above.
The warmer trend is expected to continue into the weekend and early next week, with highs peaking in the 70s for many areas on Monday and Tuesday before slightly cooler conditions return midweek. Minimum temperatures will range from the mid-30s to mid-40s throughout the period.
These near- to above-normal temperatures come as a dry weather pattern settles over the region.
