Cold Front Moves Through San Angelo Today, More Cooling Late Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A weak cold front is moving through the Concho Valley today, bringing cooler temperatures but dry conditions, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.

Highs in San Angelo are expected to reach about 62 degrees today before warming into the upper 60s and low 70s through midweek. Forecast highs climb to around 77 degrees Thursday before another cold front arrives late Thursday into Friday. Behind that front, temperatures fall back into the mid-50s by Friday and Saturday.

Overnight lows will range from the low 40s tonight, dip into the low 30s early in the week, then rebound into the mid-to-upper 40s by Wednesday and Thursday before cooling again into the upper 30s by Friday and near 30 degrees Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service said conditions will remain dry and sunny through the week, with no rain expected.

Looking ahead to the 6- to 10-day outlook, temperatures are expected to trend above normal across the region, with normal highs in the lower to mid-60s and normal lows in the mid to upper 30s. Precipitation is forecast to remain below normal during that period.
