SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle crash near the intersection of South Jackson Street and Knickerbocker Road on Monday resulted in one minor injury and a traffic citation.
The crash occurred when a semi-truck stopped at a red light just after 2 p.m. Then, a white pickup truck, unable to stop in time, slammed into the back of a maroon SUV, which was then pushed into the semi.
The driver of the maroon SUV sustained minor injuries and will seek treatment at a hospital via private transport, according to authorities. The driver of the white pickup truck was cited for failing to control speed.
No other injuries were reported. Traffic at the intersection was temporarily slowed while crews cleared the scene.
