Lose Your Turkey? San Angelo Animal Services Has You Covered

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Animal Services isn’t just for cats and dogs. This week, the agency responded to calls involving livestock and fowl within city limits.

A turkey and its mate were found standing in traffic in the Angelo Heights subdivision, according to Animal Services. In a separate case, a sheep and her lamb were picked up from the Lakeview subdivision right-of-way. 

According to city regulations, such animals can be kept within city limits if they are securely housed at least 100 feet from neighboring properties.
