SAN ANGELO, TX — Residents in the region should prepare for chilly temperatures and light rain as the National Weather Service forecasts highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s for Friday, with east winds at 5 to 10 mph.
Cloudy skies and isolated to scattered showers are expected throughout the day and into the evening.
Rainfall amounts are anticipated to remain light, with most areas seeing around a tenth of an inch. However, southeastern parts of the region could experience up to a quarter of an inch of precipitation.
Showers are likely to continue Saturday morning, especially before noon, with a 70% chance of rain and highs staying near 49°F. Rainfall amounts could range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch. Saturday night will see a slight 20% chance of showers, with lows near 42°F.
By Sunday, conditions will improve with mostly sunny skies and highs near 68°F. Winds will shift southwest at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph. Sunday night is expected to be clear, with lows around 47°F. Another cold front is forecast to arrive early next week, bringing cooler temperatures by Tuesday and Wednesday.
