One Dead Following Crash with Semi in Midland

 

MIDLAND, TX – A crash between a car and a semi-truck on Sunday night in Midland County left one person dead and another injured.

The crash occurred at the intersection of State Highway 349 and East County Road 160, according to the City of Midland. Emergency crews from the Midland Fire Department responded to the scene around 8:20 p.m.

Authorities confirmed that the car’s driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
