Christmas at Old Fort Concho to Return for Its 43rd Year

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - For the 43rd year, Christmas at Old Fort Concho returns on the first weekend of December, Friday, Dec. 6, through Sunday, Dec. 8.

The annual holiday festival features shopping with 50 merchants, two entertainment areas, ongoing special programs and events, a parade ground of camps and demonstrations covering 100 years of history, food and beverages for sale, and many special displays.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and military, $3 for children 7-17 and those 6 and under are free. Day/weekend passes and tickets to the Saturday Lions Club Pancakes with Santa and the Sunday Cowboy Church breakfast will be sold at the fort’s Visitor Center at Barracks 1 630 South Oakes St.

Volunteer opportunities are still available, and any volunteer gets an admission pass for the day worked.
