SMC Global Acquires San Angelo-based International Chemicals

SAN ANGELO, TX — SMC Global announced the acquisition of International Chemicals LLC on Tuesday, merging its oilfield business with ICC’s operations to broaden its product offerings for the oil and gas and produced water treatment markets.

This merger enhances SMC Global’s ability to deliver specialized, high-quality solutions globally while supporting sustainable practices, according to a news release.

ICC, now a subsidiary of SMC Global, will continue operating from its 8-acre facility in San Angelo, 4125 Dan Hanks Lane, which includes a quality control lab, manufacturing capabilities, a trucking fleet, and 90,000 square feet of warehousing space.

These resources will allow for efficient production and distribution, according to company officials.

"This acquisition strengthens our commitment to providing innovative and reliable solutions for the Oil & Gas and Produced Water Treatment industries," Founders Kevin Huber and Adam Feldman stated. "By combining our expertise and resources, we are creating a powerhouse in the market, ready to meet the evolving needs of our customers and address new opportunities together."

SMC Global, headquartered in New York City, specializes in chemical manufacturing and industrial services. The acquisition, officials said, aligns with their strategy for long-term growth and will help meet evolving industry needs.
