Chick-fil-A at Sunset Mall to Close

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Chick-fil-A restaurant inside Sunset Mall will permanently close on Dec. 31, ending a 45-year presence at the shopping center.

The restaurant said it has been “a pleasure to serve each and every customer” over the past four decades and thanked the community for its support.

“We are so grateful for the community support and care we’ve felt and look forward to serving the San Angelo community at one of our nearby locations,” the post stated.

The restaurant will host a farewell event all day Tuesday, Dec. 23, offering free treats throughout the day to celebrate its time serving the Sunset Mall community, according to the post.
