Mild Weather Expected in San Angelo Through the Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo residents can expect pleasant weather conditions for the rest of the week, with mild temperatures and mostly clear skies.

According to the National Weather Service, the area will experience highs in the mid-70s, with southeast winds ranging from 5 to 15 mph, becoming gustier in the afternoon.

The forecast for today, Thursday, October 17, calls for mostly sunny skies and a high near 77°F. Winds will blow from the south-southeast at 5 to 15 mph. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 55°F under partly cloudy skies, with winds continuing at 10 to 15 mph.

Friday will see increasing cloud cover, with a high of 74°F. South-southeast winds will remain between 10 to 15 mph, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph. Friday night brings a slight 20% chance of showers after 1 a.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a low near 63°F.

Looking ahead, temperatures are forecast to remain mild over the weekend before rising next week. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s are expected through Sunday, with lows in the mid-50s to low 60s. Winds will continue to blow from the south-southeast, occasionally becoming breezy. Cloud cover is also expected to increase over southern and western parts of the region, particularly overnight.

The NWS advises that warmer weather is likely next week, with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s by Monday. A few isolated showers remain possible during the weekend, though no significant rainfall is expected.
