SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service has forecasted isolated thunderstorms for the San Angelo area today, with a 20 percent chance of rain after 1 p.m.
High temperatures are expected to reach near 95 degrees, accompanied by south-southeast winds around 5 mph.

Tonight, conditions will be mostly clear with lows around 74 degrees, and southeast winds between 5 to 10 mph.
On Friday, there is a slight chance of showers in the morning, with the likelihood of thunderstorms increasing to 60 percent after 1 p.m. The high will be near 94 degrees with calm winds shifting to the east-northeast at around 5 mph in the afternoon. Rainfall amounts are expected to be less than a tenth of an inch, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday night is forecasted to be mostly cloudy with a low of around 73 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 1 a.m., with chances decreasing to 70 percent after midnight. Winds will remain light at 5 mph, becoming calm after midnight. Rainfall amounts will remain minimal, generally less than a tenth of an inch.

Looking ahead, the Labor Day weekend will bring daily chances of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures slightly cooler and below normal, beginning on Friday and continuing through mid to late next week. Highs will range from the upper 80s to lower 90s, with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
