Midland Police Searching for Suspects in Motel Stabbing

 

MIDLAND, TX – Midland police are actively searching for two suspects involved in a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning at the Executive Inn in south Midland.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, when officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the motel located at 1000 S. Midkiff Road.

According to the Midland Police Department, the victim, who made the 911 call, reported being stabbed in the neck by two suspects who fled the scene before officers arrived.

Upon arrival, officers provided first aid to the victim, who was then transported by EMS to Midland Memorial Hospital for further treatment. After being stabilized, the victim was able to provide officers with information regarding the suspects and their vehicle.

Later that day, MPD patrol officers located a black Ford pickup truck believed to be connected to the incident. A search warrant was secured for the vehicle, which was subsequently towed to a secure location for processing by the department’s Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) unit.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
