Firefighters Battle Fully Engulfed Blaze on Monday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Fire Department and other emergency personnel responded to an active fire at around 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

A residence located at the intersection of N. Archer and Spaulding Street was fully engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived. Five fire engines, one ambulance, and an AEP truck responded to the residence. The firefighters deployed two fire hoses to battle the blaze, and it was confirmed that the fire was out.

Radio communications had previously indicated that the building was fully engulfed in flames but was smoking when our reporter arrived on the scene. The Fire Marshal is currently on the scene conducting a full investigation into the cause of the fire.

It is currently unknown if there were any injuries due to the blaze.
