SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo will soon have a new store taking over the old Party City building at 4141 Sunset Dr.
The new business will be a Skechers store, which San Angelo LIVE! previously reported in January when Skechers requested a building permit from the City of San Angelo.
There is new signage on the front of the building that has the Skechers logo and states "Opening Soon."
The location has been vacant since July 2023.
Skechers has 54 other locations in Texas, including stores in Abilene, Midland and Odessa.

Skechers designs, develops, and markets a range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories for adults and children.
Its brands include Skechers Sport, Slip-ins, D'Lites, the charity line Bobs, Mark Nason, Skechers Work, Go Walk, Go Run, and Go Golf.
The report shows that the business has a budget of $400,000.
