NEW ORLEANS, LA — The Angelo State Rams and Belles Track and Field teams recently received post-season honors for their performance in the classroom last school year. Fourteen student-athletes from ASU made the USTFCCCA's 2024 NCAA Division II All-Academic list, the organization announced.
To be eligible for the awards, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25, complete at least 24 semester credits at ASU, and achieve a provisional qualifying mark during the indoor or outdoor seasons.
The Rambelles also earned the Academic Team honor for the 2024 season, maintaining at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for all athletes. It is the fifth year in a row the Belles have earned the academic team award.
