SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service has released a detailed weather forecast for San Angelo, predicting scorching temperatures and minimal chances of rain for the upcoming week.
Today, residents can expect sunny and hot conditions, with a high near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. South winds will blow at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph. Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to a low around 74 degrees. South winds will continue at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Monday will be mostly sunny with morning lows in the low to mid-70s and afternoon highs ranging from the mid-90s to 103 degrees. Southwest winds will be 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tuesday will be another mostly sunny day with morning lows in the low to upper 70s and afternoon highs between 90 and 104 degrees. South winds are expected at 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy skies with morning lows in the low to upper 70s and afternoon highs in the mid-90s to 103 degrees. Southeast winds will be lighter, blowing at 5 to 15 mph.
On Thursday the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms ahead of and behind a front. Morning lows will be in the low to mid-70s, and afternoon highs will range from the low to upper 90s. South winds will shift to the north behind the front.
On Friday similar conditions are expected, with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon. Morning lows will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s, and afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-90s. Northeast winds will be mild at 5 to 10 mph.
Despite the high temperatures, the impact on the area is predicted to be minimal, except for potential minor disruptions due to the rain on Thursday and Friday.
